Brownell Travel’s Discover More™ process helps create a bond between traveler and advisor. Your most treasured resource is leisure time with family and friends—I strive to be your trusted advisor so, with each trip planned, we’ll experience the following ideals together.
Service that Goes Beyond:
1. DISCOVER- Let’s get to know each other and discuss your travel ideas! It’s important to understand the “why” for each trip and “how” it can be a success for you.
2. DESIGN- I’ll take it from here and craft your trip proposal. We’ll review it together and edit/tweak to make it just right for you.
3. CONNECT- As we plan, I’ll keep you connected so the anticipation builds for your trip.
4. EXPERIENCE- During your trip, I’ll keep in contact with you and monitor your experience with our suppliers to ensure you are having a great time.
5. SHARE- Upon your return, I want your feedback...tell me your favorite trip moment! Candid thoughts and feedback provide me with even more insight into what you enjoy on holiday–which will hopefully lead to an even more stellar experience next time.
How we work
Let Sarah Richardson Travel make your trip planning as easy as possible! We strive to be transparent with trip pricing. You are always welcome to inquire about trip cost and compensation.
Itinerary Proposal and trip planning
After our Discover call, we can propose private tours, luxury car service, culinary tours, luxury hotels, elite cruises, African bespoke safaris...the trip possibilities are endless.
● Trip Design Planning fees range from $500-$1500 based on the size and scope of the trip request. The non-refundable fee is charged after our Discover Call and officially begins the trip planning and proposal process.
● Additional fee of $200 for any trip planned within six weeks of departure.
● For trips booked directly with onsite partners who request net payment, there will be an additional non-refundable management fee charged separately. This is usually the case when booking private tours and transfers or “complete package” trips with one price.
Airline tickets
Our Brownell Air Desk can assist with research and booking flights.
● $125 per international ticket
● $60 per domestic ticket
You may prefer to book independently using airline miles or your favorite airline website.
Insurance
Travel Protection is vital - Quotes can be offered for various types of travel insurance including cancellation, emergency medical, Cancel for Any Reason and evacuation from hospital to home hospital.
Each trip requires a thorough review with complete understanding of cancellation terms to provide an accurate quote and appropriate coverage.
You will be required to accept or decline travel protection via signed waiver.
Itinerary Consultation
Do you prefer to plan your own vacations but want a second set of eyes on your trip with regard to the logistics, hotel selections, etc?
I am happy to review your trip plans and offer suggestions or tips.
● Consultation fee of $200 per hour
Individual Hotel Bookings
This service is complimentary if you have selected the exact trip dates, particular hotel and specific room category.
● Most hotel retail (published) rates include commission to the advisor who makes the booking.
● If you are booking a luxury hotel in the Virtuoso network, I would be able to provide additional amenities through Brownell’s membership in Virtuoso.
● I am happy to VIP you at your hotel a few days before your arrival.
● Concierge services such as spa,restaurant and transfer arrangements are not included in an individual hotel booking.
